Norfolk – Destination Confirmation to be held with Bishop LaValley.
Date: Oct. 21
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Place: Parish of the Visitation
Features: After Mass, Bishop LaValley will talk about the role of parents as the first teachers of faith for their children and how they can assist in the preparation for the celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation.  Bishop will also share with the students how Confirmation is not a graduation.  It’s a new beginning and a call to continue even more passionately their journey of faith.

Norfork – The Annual Dinner hosted by the Commissioned Lay Minister Association to be held.
Date: Oct. 24
Time: 5:15 p.m.
Place: Church of the Visitation
Cost: $12 per person
Features: Spouses welcome. Mass, dinner and guest speaker Fr. Bryan Stitt will be speaking on Understanding Peoples' Temperaments as a Catholic int he 21st Century.

Ogdensburg – Notre Dame and St. Mary’s Cathedral will be hosting a Harvest Dinner.

Place: Knights of Columbus
Cost: Adults, $9; Children 5-12, $5; under 5, Free

Star Lake – Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale to be held.
Date: Nov. 3
Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Place: St. Hubert’s Church
Features: Handcrafted items, gift baskets, raffles and silent auctions

Massena – St. Peter’s Parish to have a Bazaar.
Date: Nov. 10
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Place: St. Mary’s Social Hall
Features: Take-out Cabbage Roll sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Turkey Dinner after the 4 p.m. Mass.  Poker, Skilo(Bingo), Pull tabs, 50-50, quilt raffle, Ticket Central, turkey raffles, religious items, kids' games, Country Store and Fancy Goods booths, Cake Walk wheel game

Brasher Falls - The Altar Rosary Society of St. Patrick’s will host an Annual Craft/Artisan Show.
Schedule: Nov. 10, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Nov. 11, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Place: Knights of Columbus Hall
Features: We are looking for vendors to display their work. If you wish to do this or know someone that does; please call Val Cline at 315-389-4182 for a registration packet. Tables are rented for $18 each.

Norfolk – Confirmation Retreat with NET Ministries to be held.
Date: Nov. 18
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Place: Fr. Amyot Center
Cost: $25 (Meal will be included)
Features: NET Ministries challenges young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. These are a first come, first served basis registration.

Massena - The Massena Catholic Community Book Club meets once a month to discuss various works of fiction and non-fiction that have importance to the Catholic Church and relevance in our daily lives.
Date: The third Thursday of each month
Time: 7 p.m.
Place: Sacred Heart Rectory
Features: Copies of book are often available on Kindle through our parish's Formed.org subscription or through purchase with Amazon.

Massena – The Church of Sacred Heart/St. Lawrence holds a Bereavement Support Group the last Tuesday of each month.
Time: 2 p.m.
Place: Sacred Heart Convent
Features: A gathering of those who have had a recent loss of a loved one.

Ogdensburg - St. Mary’s is holding a monthly Holy Hour for Vocations.

Time: 7 p.m. concluding with Benediction at 8 p.m.
Place: Deacon Winter Chapel

Massena - Friday Devotions are set featuring Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Hour for Vocations.
Date: First Friday of every month
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30
Place: St. Mary’s Church.

Massena – St. Mary’s & St. Joseph’s hold Benediction, Adoration on Thursdays.
 Time: 9 a.m. to 10
Place: St. Mary’s Family Room
