St. Regis Mission Church

On March 21 and 22, the St. Regis Mission Church welcomed a special pastoral visit from Bishop Alain Faubert of the Diocese of Valleyfield. His visit was a momentous occasion, bringing together parishioners, community leaders and families to celebrate faith and unity.

Over the course of two days, Bishop Faubert led the community in prayer, celebrated Mass, and engaged warmly with members of the congregation. His homilies resonated with hope, compassion and the call to walk together in Christ’s love. The bishop’s presence was a source of encouragement, as he offered blessings and listened to the joys and challenges faced by the parish.

In addition to the liturgical celebrations, Bishop Faubert met with elders and youth, fostering dialogue and strengthening the bonds between the Diocese of Valleyfield and the St. Regis Mission. Parishioners expressed deep gratitude for his wisdom and gentle leadership, noting that his visit reaffirmed their commitment to service and spiritual growth.

As the visit concluded, the community gathered to give thanks for Bishop Faubert’s ministry. His words and actions left a lasting impression, inspiring all to continue walking in faith and supporting one another.

The St. Regis Mission looks forward to future visits and ongoing collaboration with the diocese, united in the spirit of hope and renewal.
