FRIENDSHIP VOLUNTEERS
Tupper Lake - Mercy Care for the Adirondacks, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, is recruiting new volunteers to help their elder neighbors enjoy happier and fuller lives.
Date: Feb. 4
Place: Holy Ghost Parish Center
Features: Volunteers of all faiths, or of no specific faith community, are encouraged and invited to participate. Mercy Care welcomes new Friendship Volunteers in the Tri-Lakes region and surrounding communities to attend our training in Tupper Lake. New Volunteers will join Mercy Care’s more than 100 Friendship Volunteers from Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and surrounding communities who are helping their elder neighbors stay connected to their communities, while helping them to age in place more successfully.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Ticonderoga – Join for a Women’s Ministry, a place of fellowship, faith and friendship.
Date: Every third Friday of the month.
Time: Immediately following the 9 a.m. Mass

Book Club beginning in June. Details and book selection will be announced at the May 17th meeting. Beth Tiger is a Catholic speaker, author and facilitator. She is also the founder & Executive Director of ‘Her Hands’; an anti-trafficking organization originally known as Durga Tree International. Beth’s ministry has always been about assisting people in living a life of purpose. She’s done this through her writing, coaching, as well as her charitable work. A new resident of Ticonderoga, she is looking forward to meeting spiritually like minded women and creating a ministry where all can deepen their faith, form new friendships and be of service to the local community.
